Okay, I know it’s somewhat obnoxious to be talking about hot it is down here in Argentina, when so many of you are freezing your cute tushes off up in the USA. streetBut maybe these images will warm you up??

  1. Looks beautiful, Betty. I’ve always wanted to go to Buenos Aires, ever since I took Spanish in high school. And now, after seeing your photos, I want to go more than ever. Meanwhile, I’m glad to be here in eastern Canada, where it’s always warm, and we never have to freeze our cute tushes off.

    • Ohhh, I was thinking how much everybody was going to hate me if I posted this — but wait til you see my photos of Mendoza and Bariloche — you’ll just want to strangle me! Oddly enough, I have never had a burning desire to go to Argentina, but I’m loving my time here — it’s such a gorgeous, open and fun-loving country –with FABULOUS wines at a price that really makes you want to drink it in! Happy New Year, Charles!!

  2. It looks absolutely amazing! Shooting up my list of places to go. Brilliant pictures too – I love the one of the street with the Gaudi-esque trees

    • I’ve been trying like crazy to figure out what those trees are called — they look like sumacs, from the leaves, but their trunks are so wavy and dark — I love that you called them Gaudi-esque. Exactly!!! (and wait til you taste their wines — scrumptious!!!)

    • Thanks, Sherry — and I kept on asking what the trees were — they looked like sumacs but were so big, and their trunks were so wavy & cool, I was dying to get the REAL name! Happy New Year!!
